The base price of the 1 wasn't affected, but destination, metallic paint, premium and sport ..etc will be affected. The price will be protected if you placed the order before May 9th, but after that, check with your dealer, they might willing to keep the old price.

So I ended up canceling my order with Carrera BMW because they told me that I had an allocation locked in but in fact I was on a waiting list waiting for more allocations to come in. They told me up front that I would have a June delivery. I ordered on 3/29/08. Then they told me that because of high demand I will "probably" have a late July or August build slot. Cancel order!

Now I have an order in with Kuni (sorry Ty

) and it is a scheduled week 23 build:headbang:

Hopefully by mid July I will be rollin in my new 1er.
