How to level set maintenance on new to me car
I just got my 135i, a 2011 with about 53k miles on it.
When I look through the service menu I see the following: Brake fluid - 06/2014 Service - 06/2014 Oil - 15,000 miles / 06/2015 Service (car on lift) - 30,000 miles / 06/2017 Front brakes - 49,000 miles Rear brakes - 60,000 miles To me these all seem messed up since the car already has 53,000 miles on it (oil change at 15,000? Service at 30,000? Front brakes at 49,000?). Does this just mean that these indicators were somehow just cleared but not reset to go to the next service interval? Trying to figure out if I should just have the oil, filters, brake fluid, and front brakes replaced and then somehow set everything so it indicates the proper next interval. Any tips on how to handle this? Thanks! |
