I don't know the actual time it really takes to program the computer but it's more than just a bit of time. I've confirmed this when I had the latest software update done on the car and then the PPK. I want to say it's at least a couple of hours.

You can purchase the PPK sw code from Tischer or United or the like for ~$750(no hardware bits, only the sw). Then take that sw code to your dealer and pay them the $200 labor to do the download it to you DME. A lot of guys have done it this way.

Wow. That sounds fantastic! I have the BMW PE (including y-pipe) and absolutely love it. This guys ride sounds even better... more power.
As for which one first... it's up to you. I went with the PE first as I wanted the throaty exhaust notes and the clean aesthetics of the chrome tips. Next on the list is the PPK1 after hearing that clip.

So back to my question, why hasn't someone been able to replicate the over-run from a PPK on a flash tune?
