Halogen LCI Headlights on 2012 128i

Hi everybody I have a sort of dumb question for you. I have a 2012 128i, so it has the newer LCI look headlights and taillights. My headlights are halogen and not xenon though. So my question is, on the headlights, they have the "eyebrows" that look like the ones that light up on the xenon lights. However, mine do not light up. Are they supposed to? Are these just fake and do nothing on the halogen lights? Would be nice to make these actually light up somehow. Thanks for your help!

I have a 2012 w/halogen lights and mine don't light up either

They are not supposed to light up. It's the same thing with the "halogen" LCI tail lamps, the eyebrow is just a piece of plastic glued inside the headlight to replicate the look, just as the "LED" piece of plastic in the tail lamp does.

Thanks guys! Well I guess I need to add Depot headlights and LCI blackline taillights to the future last of mods then. That lost is getting LONG lol!
