Hey guys, I think it's time for another meet. I think alot of people have picked up their cars since our last meet. I was looking at Sunday 14th of June? Any ideas?

Could keep going down Mt G and end up at Summerset Dam eat food turn around and come home, will take a bit longer than normal, would be good if people could bring a UHF radio makes communication much better cost 40$ from Dick S.

Haven't been out for a nice drive in a long time so can't add much. Could go down towards Murwillimbah (sp?) inland from the Gold Coast, or maybe up to Mt Meleny?

Have never been to Murwillimbah but just googled it, looks good. I have been to maleny thats nice too. I wouldnt mind a longer drive than last time, guess it depends on you guys. I guess if we were to head to maleny, on the way back there is a huge go-kart track. We could stop there have a few laps and then head off. What do you guys think?

I would be out going to Murwilumbah.. just too far for me. If you guys are going to do that though, I can do a test run and check out how long it takes as we are heading to Byron next week.

Maleny got some really nice runs (and good cafes at montville ), but you'll have to go through the ranges to make it more fun. If you are thinking of coming up this way, then going to Maleny through Mt pleasant and Samford could be a good option.

Another option is to head up through Toowoomba through Kilcoy - that's got one of the best drives I have recently done. Some really tight places @ 100k speed limit with trees both sides . Makes spirited driving fun and legal.

Heading to Murwillimbah - the best driving route is probably to Nerang and through Numibah Valley and through the natural bridge - comes out at Murwillimbah and head back to tweed.

I go to Murwillumbah on the weekends, grew up in the area, there are some nice roads with out blue lights, could go over Numinbah on the way there and come back over Tomiwin which comes out at Currimbun then up the freeway home. Would be a Half day drive, would be good to start early. The burringbar range could be a fun side track
or over clothers creek road to Cabareta Beach.

Just used whereis to plan the route, looks good. Nice little loop we have before heading back. Darren, guess you will be our navigator
We just have to see how many people are willing to go with this route. As sparoz mentioned earlier that it would be too far for him which is fair enough since I think he resides in the Sunny Coast district.

Don't worry about me It is a great run. If everyone wants to go that way, then I'll just have to try to follow . Would be nice to get a photo of the cars with Mt Warning as a back drop. Next time you guys have to come up to the glasshouse.

The 135s and their volcanic activity. That would be good photos to show.
