I'm not a red colour fan, although I've had 2 other cars in red before. However after looking at the 130i in red a few times i liked it. At least its different, they all seem to be black, grey or blue around here.

I like to be different. I think with the tints and CSL's it would look pretty nice.

you thought about the dark line (or whatever they call them) rear lights?
pretty sure they make them for the hatch only?

Hi Mr 130i!!!!

I'm getting my 130 in October (its still being built). I was just wondering, I notice you only have the 17" wheels. I thought the 18" twin spoke were standard?

Also do you know of we can get any engine upgrades say a chip for example in Sydney??

Congrats on the purchase mate. What are the specs on the car?

I believe the pre upgrade model had the 18's standard and the post upgrade model had the 17's standard. But I have seen many pre upgrade models with the 17's also so I'm not sure exactly.

I bought my 2nd had so u get what u get. But I wasnt fussed because I was going to get different wheels and have just put down a deposit for 18" CSL replica wheels which I get in a few months from the USA.

You can search hi and low, but I don't think you will find many engine upgrades for the 130s. There is some talk about flashing the ECU but also a lot of debate about gains.

There are a few people who have supercharged.

The best possible route without getting into anything too expensive or potentially damaging would be CAI and exhaust. If it does make you go fast it will sure as make you feel like you are going faster

Good luck with the car.

I have had mine 3 1/2 years and I am finding it difficult to replace without spending > $100,000.00

As previously said - hard to get bolt on engine upgrades for the 130i. The intake gives minor gains, and the exhaust upgrades are mainly for noise. These components are already very free flowing.

And the engine chip gains are debatable.

My recommendations are:
1) replace runflat tyres and decrease unsprung mass
2) replace clutch delay valve (if your car is manual)
3) install a quaife LSD

130 2010 build?

Hey guys,

Since my 130i is ready for delivery on october 30th, do you reckon it'll be classified as a 2010 build?? Apparently there are minor upgrades to the interior and the business nav!!
