It has been an awesome experiance:roundel:
I only saw one set of holes on the sway bar. Perhaps their instructions are generic to cover sway bars with multiple settings. Look at your photo above...only one hole

No good..you'd have to have the car in front of you to understand why that won't work.

I saw the layout of the rear sway when my car was on a lift for a spring install. It looked like an absolute bitch to get to.

Nice eye u got there. It is 12mm thick. I measured it with a dial caliper the first time I put it on the lift. At first I thought it was the brake line until I saw it connect to the end links.

damn thats one tiny bar. Its sad that BMW decided comfort was more important than ballance, at least its an easy fix.

I hope its well ballanced for you.

That's hilarious!

I hope to see more people's experience with different thicker bars before I jump on board...

Not really. I don't have the no's with me now but they were posted on this forum sometime back. similar to the 335coupe.
wait so this is with both sway bars replaced?

and also, is the daily ride noticeably stiffer?

I only replaced the rear one since the front oem bar doesn't look bad. I can't make out a diff in the stiffness of the ride except it is more firm when changing lanes or making abrupt turns.

The ride should not get any stiffer with just sway bars. You will notice less body roll when cornering and changing lanes, the ride should also feel more "solid" at high speeds.

not substantially but it limits independent wheel travel. and i recall reading that bmw sacrificed rear sway bar thickness for improved ride comfort, i wouldn't have thought it would be that noticeable either - shoulda come from the factory this way.

The car drives a lot better now. Before i could notice the understeer n roll at 60mph. Last nite with no one around i tried to induce understeer by rapid lane changing and turning 90 degrees at traffic lights without dropping the speed. I would say the best couple of hundred bucks I have spent so far. I won't go as far as saying the understeer is eliminated totally but a lot better. I guess it'll be the best by also adding either kw3 or pss10 coilovers.

To put in a line, the 2 things i hate about the car are 1) tiniest rear swaybar 2) the exhaust with tons of dings created by bmw which restricts the free flow of the exhaust. The front BMW swaybar isn't bad at all and I have no plans of changing it.

Jan from Speedindustry swapped it for me. He is an awesome guy. It was more like a weekend saturday project for us and he answered all my silly q's and took very good care of my car. He is so friendly and I have found someone whom I can trust very much.
You may want to reconsider not doing the front bar and look at lesson learned over e90post. Not replacing the front bar is the same as adding the "stock rear bar+ HR rear bar) for stiffness. The 0.5 mm difference in the front is stiffer than the whole stock rear bar. Your car will be lean towards over steer now which means watch your ass if your not trail braking.

When i was turning hard with sudden accl, I noticed an inner side tire slippage(best way I can describe:smile. This was only with the the HR rear sway bar installed. Today I got my front HR sway installed and I have to say the front sway bar really makes a difference. I have tried various things to induce the understeer and with both the swaybars, it really makes a diff. Thanks for your advise on the front sways.

Now I am waiting for a toon

When i had the rear sway replaced, I wasn't convinced about replacing the front one. I thought the OEM BMW front sway looked solid as compared to the rear. But I have been convinced even the 0.5 makes a difference. So here I am replacing both . Unfortunately I couldn't take pics of the front sway bar installation
