It has misfired on cylinders 6 and then 5 when it does throw a code. However mostly it doesn't register a code so it's getting frustrating working it out. I'm running a JB4 with Map 5.
log it and send the file to Terry, he'll sort ya out ASAP

It's common on RBxxDET/T powered Nissans(as I'm sure advan can confirm). Stress less, they're a relatively cheap consumable.

I noticed when i had my new bmw plugs vs the bosch items that the electodes were a different colour, thus possibly indicating use of a different material also...

At 107k miles on the odometer I finally blew out ignition coils four and six. Ran seafoam and forgot to switch my jb4 from map two to map five. Got on the freeway and instantly developed two misfires. Luckily I made it home (very embarrassed). Seafoam decreases octane levels thus on aggressive maps the coils are trying so hard to ignite fuel that they can blow. Anyway I decided to replace all spark plugs and coil packs and my 135i is running like a dream.
Out with the old and in with the new.

Matt if you need them I can send you 6 Bosch plugs for $100 and a coil pack for $60, add $10-13 for postage depending on number of coils ordered.
Good deal! An old post

Mine has developed a not nice misfire.. 2nd gear is no problems, when it loads up in 3rd, and low RPM full throttle in 3-4-5-6th misses pretty bad..

Is there anywhere in Sydney to get the BMW plugs cheap?

No where in Sydney will have 'cheap' plugs. You'll be paying for convenience. Advan or BMR will have them. BMR has a site too.
