Use a safety pin or a sewing needle to aim the washer jet nozzle.

ok let me try.....i googled it....apparently there is a BMW tool....ooohhh aaaaahhh.
Called BMW and since I'm at 52k miles....it's $130......yeah $130 to adjust it...... I'll give the self adjustment a shot ;-) did it on all my other cars so...how hard can it be! Last edited by shah269; 11-25-2013 at 09:23 AM.. |

Hazet tool...
$130 is just a crazy price to pay! I think your dealer must not know how to do it! lol Should be like a 5 minute job TOPS! Charging an hour's labor rate is criminal.
Hazet makes a tool to adjust the washer nozzles. As you can see a safety pin would also do the (same)job. The shaft size of the Hazet tool's needle is a 1mm O.D. IF your car has heated washer jets... sometimes some type of fluids can corod the washer jet - then you would need to just replace it. http://www.samstagsales.com/matador.htm

yeah i agree it's nuts. went out with a pin....think i found the hole (that's what she said) moved it up and now it's better...a bit towards the center rather than straight on the drivers side...but better.

The older cars you can just look and see "Oh ok it's a ball in a socket!" cool...BMW you look in and all you see is.....plastic...where the hell is that hole! how can i get this little prick in that little hole...why god...why is this hole so small! Why isn't my prick..smaller? huh?
