Couple of questions: lights

Hi everyone,

Sorry to open a new post but for my question I didn't know what to search in the forum, I saw in the pictures of german and american 1ers that they have an orange glare at the end of the headlight just like the one in the images of this thread. What is it? Is it possible to install it?

Another quick question that is bugging me a lot, I've looked it up in many threads but couldn't really understand well, it seems like I have an old car respect to the forum average: I would like to install Blackline headlights but my car was made in 10/2007 and I don't know if they will fit in it or they need an extra control unit to be put under the seat of the driver.

The orange side markers on the headlight are "reflectors", which are mandatory to have on U.S. spec cars by law.

I understand, is it the same in germany? Isn't there a way to have them on mine as well?

You want the orange reflectors? Most U.S. guy's want the clear headlights. You can buy U.S. spec headlights or just buy some orange vinyl.

I did notice this in fact and find it pretty funny

I like the orange glare it gives the headlight!

Do you think it's possible?

No worries dude, here to help! Yeah it's possible. If you have xenon headlights, you can order U.S. spec xenon headlights. Honestly, just order some orange vinyl, way cheaper!

Honestly I'm sure you can find someone on this forum who will trade you their US lights for your European lights, I know I would do it if I hadn't already modded my headlights!

yes! i spent 1145 on headlights to get rid of that nasty orange shit! if you really want it post up a trade offer...it will be taken in a matter of moments.

also if you have the xenon lights then yes you can order the xenon blacklines like normal.
