Detailer's Domain: Lexus Clean Up
This ES300 needed mostly a thorough cleaning. Customer wanted to a shine back on the car. As well remove all the sap and tar that was embedded in the paint. This ES has no swirls or deep scratches enabling us to use Power Finish to achieve the results we needed. Einszett Glanz was used to get the metallic flake to pop!
What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down - Wheel wells were cleaned up - Pre Washed with W99 - Iron Cut - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Tires dressed - Masking - Paint Measurement - 1 Step - Menzerna Power Finish with Uber Green Pad - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step – Einszett Glanz for that metallic flake POP! - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed - Jambs steam cleaned Interior - Vac - Clean Glass - Leather Cleaned - Leather Conditioned Engine - Cleaned - Dressed Links to products used - 1Z einszett W99 Iron Cut Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner Uber Clay Bar Kit Menzerna Power Finish with Uber Green Pad 1Z einszett Glanz Adam's Super VRT Adam's Glass Cleaner Black Wow Engine Adam's All Purpose Adam's In and Out Interior Leather Master Strong Cleaner Leather Master Vital Conditioner Sonax Dashboard Cleaner Tools used Uber Wool Wash Mitt Uber No Name MF Towels Porter Cable 7424XP Flex PE14-2-150 Uber Buffing Pads Defelsko Paint Meter Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Kranzle Pressure Washer Cam Spray Foam Canon 2 Grit Guard Buckets with Caddies Uber Firehose Nozzle Interior was in great shape not much needed (afters) Cleaning with the new Uber Leather Brush  Afters    Engine Before     Adam's APC in action   Agitating to remove heavier dirt and grime  Rinse  Adam's In and Out Spray for that final touch  After   Exterior Before shots   Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner  Adam's All Purpose Cleaner working on removing the dirt and grime from the tires   Wheels and Tires get brushed   Wash  Rinse   Iron Cut goes to work      3m adhesive remover was used to clean up various sap and tar (Derek spent about 1 hour removing all these from various places on the car)     The car appeared to be cleaned up but the clay bar picked up everything that the Iron Cut did not.
