Potential Group buy for LCI Blacklines?
So... Anyone willing to save a couple of bucks (and cut down risk since some people don't seem to trust Schmeidmann's or ebay) at the same time since it would be one single order to RMA or something if there's problems with it) Basically, the Ebay seller's shipping is flat rate (as far as I know, I messaged him on Ebay already and waiting on the reply) of 50 euros with a maximum of 3 sets of lights in one shipment (he's renewed the listing very quickly after the old one either runs out of time or sells out) So if everyone is buying separately, it would cost about $950 or $960 to buy 3 sets of the tail lights shipped to the door. If someone does one big shipment to themselves, it would be roughly $850 or so total for the 3 sets of lights shipped to their door. Looking at the USPS shipping for 10 lb package (the lights weigh about 6-8lb a set) and the 2 day priority mail shipping, it would cost roughly $15-25 (the lights will fit either in one or two medium sized flat rate boxes) so it'll be around $880-900 total for the 3 sets of tail lights... But yeah, you'll also save around $10-20 over buying on eBay (so 5%ish discount?) (or more if you live around Seattle and can pick it up) At least for the first shipment, I'm fine with fronting the cost since it looks like it's pretty damn easy to sell them for roughly $310-350 or so shipped (when you have it in hand and don't have to wait a whole month for it to arrive) if someone skips out... Edit: or the last set went for $370 on the forums yesterday lol Basically, if you're interested, I'm just asking you to post here and just postpone buying for a month or so until I can order from the guy after he answers my shipping question and I order it... |

Don't forget the chances of custom fees and duties. the higher the value of the product, the higher chance you get charge.
I remember some members here didnt get charged this. Kind a hit or a miss. This might potentially outweigh the 10-20$ savings.. ill be all over this if we can save a bit more thou. |
