Any way to make style 5's fit with a mild drop?

I want a set of style 5's and need to know if there is any way to make them fit. They are 18" and either 8" square et20 or 8" et20 and 9" et22. I have JIC suspension with a mild drop and dont mind rolling and doing some camber/spacer's. Any way to do it?

cannot be done unless you want it to look ridiculous and guarantee front/rear rubbing regardless of modifications (unless you run an extremely high spring rate).

That setup will protrude significantly front and rear even with camber.

Aint no way. Those offsets are so low you're pushing even a stock rear tire about 1.25 inches out (even more on the square set up).
Maybe on a 1M.

Never with those offsets. That's for a low offset 5 series.

I've seen a high offset version in 17" listed before. They may be mixing those two sizes up.

OP.. not busting them on you, shouldn't you be able to know this by now? I just checked (because this thread looked awfully familiar) and saw that I've personally answered 4 of them for you. Funny, but you have 11 threads you started in the past 9 months asking nearly identical "will these fit" questions.

I can see definitely see asking some of your questions regarding borderline fitment, but this one is soooo far from fitting.

So, hopefully this will allow you to fish for yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_sizing It's surprisingly simply stated, and if you take that info along with a ruler, and you can answer these for yourself from now on.

Also, the wheel and tire forum on e90post will tell you the difference from your current offset, then you can take a ruler/tape measure and see for yourself if you will have enough room.

onefastman ...

weird cause I was wondering the same thing and was going to post this exact question ...

I saw ecs tuning's post on e46fanatics. I love these wheel and think they would look absolutely hot on a 1.

Based on my research (not experience) I think this setup might be possible but would definitely be far from ideal on the street. I think the fronts will be the biggest problem. These will be 9mm further out than the most aggressive setup I've seen on the board so far (which is a 8.5 et 35). Let me know if you go this route because I'd be very interested to see how this turns out.

If this option doesn't work I'm thinking about going with the ESR-4 wheels. Offsets are a little bit more 1 friendly (8 et 35 and 9 et 43)

Ya I know. Other people said that the vmr wheels (19" 8.5 et40 and 9.5 et45) would never fit with out semi serious modification and if fit stock sport suspension with out rubbing.

So if I go 2.5 degrees neg camber I was curious if they will fit but I guess not.

Unfortunately no possible way those would fit with those offsets on a 1-Series without fender flares.

The VB3's in 8.5 +40 front and 9.5 +45 rears can work with 225/245 setup with some slight fender rolling, no camber adjustments will be needed.
