GP Thunder Angel Lights fitted

I've put these in and the brightness is really good and "white".......but, The difference in brightness between the inside and outside rings seems even more than before.

Has anyone else noticed this ?

Can anything be done to even the brightness up ?

Typical ( How do the standard bulbs manage to make the difference less dramatic ?....just "yellow"

Maybe I've answered that one myself, yellow is easier to see........but ugly !

It has to do with the design of the Fiber Optics, it's very difficult to get even brightness from a standard bulb upgrade.

OP, you still glad you did the GP Thunder upgrade? Anybody else? I'm about to order a set - don't wanna spring for LED since it seems those can have issues as well..

Bang for the buck n what not...

I have them. At first I was not that happy with them, but after a few weeks they started to grow on me. It took a little while to realize the difference over stock but it is there. The difference in cost over the LED bulbs is well worth it. Once they come down, which they will (remember when HID kits were $600) I will pick up a set.

Had 'em for about 18 months now. One burned out after about 6 months, and I got a 2nd set (so I have a spare bulb). I think they work pretty well. I think they are a bit brighter on the inside rings than the stock bulbs.

FWIW, all corona rings are supposed to dim with the headlights on, though I wish they did not.

I am pleased with mine now I know its "normal" how they are.
Much whiter than standard and 5 mins to fit.

It has to do with the design of the Fiber Optics and how BMW built your car model, nothing wrong with GP's and 200% error free

Got these installed. So happy with both! The GP's are great - plenty bright for me, great color.

The clutch stop completely transformed the car - took me a few days to fully appreciate it.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
