I've finally decided to make the switch to PSS and would hate to mount the tires at a dealership... their costs are already $50 more per tire for the tire alone. Can anyone recommend a shop in Boston or within a half hour outside of the city that Tire Rack will deliver to that won't destroy your rims?

Thanks -

Joe

Thanks, Twhill. I'm actually going to give them a call today and see what my options are.

I've had good experience with town fair tire in Walpole. I bought two sets of tires from them and they did a good job both times with no damage to the wheels. And they didn't give me any hassle regarding non run-flats on a BMW which probably wouldn't be the case with the BMW dealership across the street. Price was pretty competitive with tirerack. Once you add the cost of shipping, mounting and balancing to tirerack's prices, I was within $50.

Thanks, Bimmer74. I'm waiting for a call back from the service dept now. Should the prices be outrageous ill try your town fair tire.

I wouldn't normally go to Sudbury, but for some reason they had the best all-in price. I'm having 4 PSS installed this week!

On a separate note, my fenders were rolled and I was running 10mm spacers in the rear with a stock setup. Since ill be running 255/35/18 should I just have them install without spacers to start? I'm afraid that ill rub for sure with even 10mm as the tires are larger and look meatier in general.

Standard Msport (261) rims. I don't drive the car in the winter and haven't been able to decide on new rims yet.
