shift when rpm hits redline, just dont over rev
but i would suggest leaving it in sports mode since computer electronic shifting is much more accurate. i would use the sportshift only when i need to downshift to hold thru a tight turn or to just simply drift |

mmmmm, ouch, let's call it a smooth shifter rather than a slushbox. I am quite impressed with the steptronic transmission and I am only using it in D mode for the time being. I have only recorded 500kms in my car so I am being a little cautious.
But I tell you what - I am certainly not at all sorry that I changed from manual to Step. In fact, I feel the car to be very light and nimble with the auto box. Quick enough off the mark and VERY smooth not at all like the olden days when autos were slushboxes and drained power from the engine.
