Warranty approaching expiration....
Last year I purchased a CPO'd 2011 135i. It's factory 4/50K is about to expire and I had a quick question.
For those of you who have been in this same scenario, is it worth taking the car to an independant service shop and having them give the car a once over? My intent is basically to have a disintereted 3rd party look over the car so then I could take any issues to the dealer and have them fix any issues prior to the regular warranty expiring. Is this a common practice, or am I overthinking it and should just take it to the BMW dealership? Thanks in advance!

Can't hurt. In fact, I think it's good thinking. Just make sure it's BMW shop that knows the car well.
