Anyone Have The OEM "Seat Covers" ?
Just curious how they are. Since I have a light seat color for the first time (Grey) I thought that these might be cool for work days. (I am an Executive Chef and you just never know what you might have gotten on your pants)
http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemVi...productId=1031 Also, isn't it possible that the Black Dye from the covers could rub off on the seats ? Thanks.

Not sure what this is worth..and OH, BTW, am well aware of the foodie situation in my past role, with food services in hospitals, GM, and several businesses. Slacks, shoes, shirts are ALL suceptable. I would check with CaliforniaCarCover.com. They have a slip over the hear rest sheath, fits down on whole seat, made of terry cloth with no leaching. Great in summer with top down for us, in that "no stickiness" etc, with seat backs or seat. Comes off in 3 seconds for a show, or when you do NOT want it on. Black, and Tan available. NOT BMW, but then it was only 29 USD per side also. Covers whole seat back and bottom cushion for the price...good luck on this need. It works perfectly for us.

It's a shame those don't cover the side bolsters - the area where the most wear occurs. I guess if it's just your backside that's dirty and you're agile enough to get in/out of the car without rubbing the side bolsters...

Man, could the be any uglier? Not only do they not protect the vulnerabler spot as mentioned, but they look like Mike Holmes coveralls...

Man, if BMW can't make them look better than that, using a professional photographer, than I can only imagine what they look like in person.

Poor Catalog Photos
For SOME REASON, most of the photographs in their catalogs are seriously lacking.

I see no other options. I want to put seat covers on before it gets much worse and I'm not having much luck - I'd had high hopes for this thread until I saw the stock pictures, rolled my eyes and said to myself, "Oh, Christ!"
