i have the first car and driver with the 370z in there and the numbers do not add up, they have the 370z 0 -100 13 seconds and quater mile time at 13.6 now in this magazine of car driver they have it at 11.4 0 -100 quater mile time at 13.4 that is totally different, and also have the top speed at 148 with the sports package instead of 155mph.they just make 370z sound so superior. the 135i is a sport coupe but come of your fast cars track or straight line are sport coupes.

I love the "Gotta have it" and "Fun to drive" where the Nissan blows away the competition...YEA. You give anyone the choice of a free 135 or a free 370, and I guarantee the vast majority will take the 135. I've driven the 370 (and owned a G35 coupe) and the 135 is way more fun. It feels like a sports car, not a sporty car.

And I don't want any grief of price comparisons and performance, blah blah blah...if I didn't have another kid who was about to start driving, and facing this crappy economy, I would have a hard time choosing between the an IS-F (performance, reliability and kick@$$ service) or an S5--THE SEXIEST car on the road today--and called it a day (sorry M3 and C63)...[/quote]
Interesting review, but that last part seems a bit curious. The S5 is indeed gorgeous, but it still has virtually no performance for a car of that price. Maybe you're showing your age when you start gravitating to beauty over brawn.

I don't think there are other cars that put sport and practical use together as well as BMW (especially if they give us a 135i 5-dr hatchback). Stock 135i obviously is still not fully a track car, but a couple of relatively simple modifications will do the job.
Personally, no matter how good the 2-seater sports cars look, I could never justify buying one.

I test drove the car, I loved the car, I ordered the car, can't wait to finally get it soon, there's this great community. That's all I really care for and it's not a lemon

rofflmao--well, 13.6 1/4mile in an S5 and AWD is fine by me. Can it hang with a 135i, IS-F, C63, 370Z? Nope. Can it it be fairly impressive drive and look better than most anything else--yes. I'm not too old to appreciate a lot of one and a little of something else. I suppose the younger set would get an Evo or STi. I'd rather shoot myself than drive those around. They look tolerable, and the performance is great, but the build quality is pure crap... |

The only thing that's really off is the high speed accel numbers from 130+ and maybe the top gear acceleration from 30-50. However it still seems very plausible with differences due to conditions and varying vehicles. Comparison test numbers for the 370z on the left and initial test for the 370Z in the middle. Comparison test numbers for the 135i on the Right |

Would it kill you to learn everything there is to know about insurance law? The technical side of my brain is filled with other stuff. In almost 10 years of posting on ls1, freshalloy, g35driver, acura-tl, well, I've never figured out the multi-post...

I don't partake in insurance law so why would I need to know it? Your logic seems flawed. So, is it truly bliss?

Why spend thousands more if the performance is sub-standard for cars in that price range? Can Audi will ever make it both beautiful and kick-ass? Yes, if the RS5 actually gets produced, but God knows what Audi will charge for that ($70k?).
