Optimum No Rinse

Tried ONR wash & shine and really like it. It is great for a mildly dirty or just dusty car.

One observation and a small gripe - I can't seem to get the windows clean. There is an oily like streaking that is really persistent. I guess next time I'll avoid the glass. Anybody else notice this?

Are you diluting the product properly?

After you have washed the entire vehicle, take a dry towel and do a light mist of ONR onto it and then wipe the windows down again. This should remove any streaking that might be present from the initial wash & dry.

I had the same problem... Just use Invisible Glass to clean the windows.

I wasn't too precise with the dilution and probably had too much ONR. I got the windows clean by using a dishwashing liquid/water mix on a sponge. The sponge helped keep the mix off of the paint. Next time I'll try your suggestion.

Glass cleaner didn't work as well as the dishwashing liquid and I tried cleaners with and without ammonia. Didn't have Invisible Glass.

If glass cleaner did not work, then it was not ONR that was left over on your windows, it was something else.

ONR streaks/residue can be easily removed days later with just a quick detailer in my experiences.

I've done hundreds of ONR washes and haven't experienced what you're describing. Perhaps there was something on your glass ahead of time and you only noticed it after washing the car?

Maybe there was. Either way, it's good stuff and convenient so I'll be using it often.

Thanks
