I have one Performance wheel V1 without the other components, but the one i really need is the control unit, anyone here? Thanks! |

I don't need one per say, but I'm all for this. I have a working unit that I can possibly send out to get copied as the only way to get a new one is to buy the whole damn kit.

bmw manufactured this steering wheel till 2011, and how come they discontinued the part on 2012?
I escalated the issue to local dealers management, and guess what? they confirmed that V2 control unit and harness will be ok for V1 now I will order the new parts (around 450 usd!) and will see what it turns out to be if they dont match, then I will be a big issue for the dealer |

It worked!!! Yes, V2 control unit works for V1 Still have a problem tho: Everything works fine BUT the shift lights same problem of Kevin here http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1231283 Hope I can sort that too should anyone need help, do let me know Last edited by Hg; 08-29-2016 at 11:18 AM.. Thanks for that. So there is a Performance steering wheel for sale locally but the seller says it does not come with the control module. How do I know if I need V1 or V2? And where would I be able to find one?
