West Coast Deliveries
Looks like for most of us with week 28 production completions (today is the last day of week 28), our cars are either enroute to, or have already arrived at the vehicle terminal at Bremerhaven.
The next NYK-Line vessel, Morning Sapphire, is scheduled to depart the Nordhafen (North Port) of Bremerhaven July 17. ETA at Port Hueneme is August 9. Looks like I might have been a little optimistic in anticipating taking delivery of my car sometime the week of August 10... |

I just got a different story from my CA. Apparently, I'm not on the OTELLO, but still waiting in line.

Bremerhaven Webcam
West Coast Week 28ers:
Check out the Nordhafen webcam. That would appear to be the Morning Sapphire in the center of the pic: Edit: Morning Sapphire left Bremerhaven at ~0630 local time this morning (July 18). I'll leave the link to the webcam up in case anyone else is interested. |

Ahhh.. Still awaiting transport. This is so horribly painful I can hardly stand it.
I hope that there won't be any weather delays from Bertha and the two hot-spots in the carribean right now. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ |

We'll be driving to the shop to get it clear-bra'd and tinted. But we'll probably take a few detours on open highways before we get there. I'm not too concerned about the tropical situation right now, but the closer Fedora comes to the east coast I'll post up some updates.

English Channel
Morning Sapphire is done stopping at ports in Europe and headed to the Atlantic. Currently in the English Channel just west of the Isle of Wright. Next destination is Cristobal, Colon; the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal. ETA is August 3. The Canal has webcams too, so help me keep an eye out for her as she passes through the locks.
