Bought The E92 Coupe (335i) Today!!!@!!!

Went to BMW Mississauga ( in Toronto area) and bought it,

The invoice says 2007 BMW 335i and it says TBA for everywhere like options, price and total, but i bought it!!! lol

Cant wait, i actually knew more then my dealership, i even brought the manager who sold me the car to this site and showed him the postings,

Also --- Im not getting a penny of MSRP, oh well what can i say, i tried for like 1 hour tho! lol they kept on saying not on a new model but they would take care of some options, maybe including bluetooth at no extra cost, but i am also going to get the sport package and preimum package too. so the dealership told me its going to be about 58 - 59,000 CDN before tax

thats not bad! cant wait...

Congrats!

That price seems to be higher than most people have been estimating. That's $51,000 - $52,000 US. Way too steep for my taste.

Congrats!
I am amazed however that people buy a car without even driving it or seeing
it up close first...

I think you should re-think your purchase.....maybe because your so excited and I understand that....and by leaving a deposit or an order in your mind you feel like you already own the car...trust me I am the same way....But when I spoke to my dealer about it...I told him I'll pay 1k over invoice like my other cars...it is fair for both party's he said no problem its only a car.....so I think you nshould A. hold off and see until the car hits showrooms or B. find a dealer that will sell it to you 1k over invoice no matter what the invoice price ends up....

Just my 2cents...

Thanks and Good Luck with it!!!!

I made sure I saw my color in person before buying. I was originally going to wait for mystic blue to come out (which would have been another 2 month wait on top of the 8 weeks from placing my order). Overall, I am very satisfied with Monaco Blue (Was a big fan of orient blue on the E46)...

I probably should have waited. At that point, I could have saved up a few more bucks and ordered a 330i with all the same options and the navigation that I am now kicking myself for not getting.

Coud have, should have, would have... Oh well... I own a specacular car.

Congrats! I personally wouldn't buy a car without getting in it because the number one priority for me is ergonomics, and that's mainly due to the fact that I'm 4'11". However, I suppose you can be assured after seing the interior photos that the ergonomics will be very similar to the sedan with sport package since they appear to have only very subtle differences, so if you feel comfortable in the sedan then you're probably fine.

Make sure you sit in a sport package car. The seats and steering wheel is enough to ensure that as a package. The suspension and staggered wheels are a bonus...

Just make sure you get exactly what you want (options)... Buyer's remorse is no fun. (Should have gotten that F430 )

$59000-60000 is actually not that much for an E92 335i, an E90 330i PP, SP, metallic pain, manual costs $56000. So a few thousand dollars more than the 330i seems reasonable.

And even then the US gets a significantly lower MSRP compared to Canada even after exchange rates are factored in. And generally, the US can get a much lower price from MSRP when in Canada, you can only get $1000 or so. (I got $800 off MSRP for my E90)

58000-59000 $ cdn is too expensive !!! is your dealer sure about this price?

325i $40300
330i $47900

335i 10000$ more then 330i (and it was just supposed to remplace it :-(

A similarly equipped e90 330i in Canada is only $2000 – 3000CA difference in price. That would make the US models only $1800 - $2500US difference in price from the US e90 330i. This would make the base MSRP in the US for a 335 under $40K

You are comparing Canadian e90 base price to a well equipped 335 e92 estimated price. You need to compare apples to apples like tctic and you only get a couple thousand Canadian dollar difference. Tank is getting Premium, Sport, Bluetooth and other options so the dealer is estimating a total price with a bunch of extras at $58K Canadian. Sport is $2800CA and Premium is $4200CA so the gap closes pretty quick when comparing similarly equipped cars... your $10K canadian difference is down to $3k Canadian after just two options.
