I also love the colour and the power although it could use a bit more.

1) engine HP/TQ and BMW Performance Exhaust. for my listening pleasure..
2) believe it or not my heated seats when it cold...i love to have the windows open so i can listen to #1^^^^ and the heated seats make me toasty and comfy and my old body digs the warmth with the window's open in cool weather. Car is too quiet with the window's up... 3)Believe it or not again.....leg room in the front and driving position...at 6ft4 i LOVE to be able to stretch out my left leg fully without a bend and in the 135i i have more room than i need and it's comfy....width is fine as well but leg room is superb...rear seat room does not matter as i NEVER have rear passengers...and seldom front guests as the car feels so much slower with the extra passengers ....big difference especially with my 300lb son in the right seat...The car feels like it needs the JB3 with passengers LOL..or i just drive slow... |

1. I agree on the steering wheel
2. Since I have the 125i I'm going to say the exhaust note 3. Overall design - I love the 1er's unique look.

I also agree on the steering wheel.
My other two favourite things (apart from the power) 2/ The styling - I actually like the way it looks - especially the shoulder line and the stance on the road. Maybe it is that I've come from FWD cars but the wheel in each corner makes it look far more substantial than its size. I like the headlights too. 3/ The front seats Like IZAGLO I'm tall and it is a very comfortable place to be. |

I do the same with the sun roof - 8 degrees outside, sunroof comes down and heater on the feet. Lovely warm air flows up from the footwell and out the roof. beautifully snug! |

Nothing like a winter's evening with the roof open, the cabin lukewarm and the sweet sound of the inline 6 banging away.

I actually went in a 135 for the first time this morning (as a passenger), and the 135 seats do seem to have more lumbar support. That said, I've retrofitted lumbar support to mine which is a big improvement, but still not perfect.
To be honest I'm about to look at how much it's going to cost me to get out of the lease on this car, I'm really not happy with it at all. |

I personally like this one when I'm gunning it. Couldn't find the original MV but here's the song nonetheless. 'Blow Me Away' I think suits the 1er beautifully [u2b]<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UgaGGP5R8T4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UgaGGP5R8T4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>[/u2b]

If you're into real alternative stuff for cruising music (highways, night trips etc), you should check out Lisa Gerrard. THE definition of haunting and Australian, too!
Hahaha i used to listen to Blow Me Away on Akuna Runs!! Don't kill me for my choice of cruising music, but here's some of Lisa's work: |
