To those who bought this and got it to fit, which sellers did you buy from?

When you cut the wings off, is it solid PU or hollow? I was thinking of getting one of these and doing the mod as well as removing the wings and having it painted at the same time I get my performance side skirts done. If I can cut the wings off and sand it down it's worth a shot...it's cheap enough and no other real options.

edit...is it me, or did they make a design change...

Old

New

After looking at my front bumper...even though they say what I call the "old" is for the 135i and the "new" is for the 128i (which I can't comment on), the "new" looks like it may have been the mod that was needed. Funny thing is, it's the 135i (Unkie's) they show in the "128i" listing...clearly they are confused but look to (possibly) have at least listened and made an attempt to fix the issue. Now whether or not they actually send out the right one or if it's right now

An eye for detail Steve.
It does look like they have improved the design and made some effort to fix the very spot that was causing most of the fitment issues - the inner aspect of the two middle blocks.

That's the spot I had to cut/shave to fit the curvature of the bumper underside.

What the overall fit will be is hard to know but it's likely to be better than the ones I and others in this thread have bought earlier

It is half hollow and half solid. And it is also one of the reason why i HAD to cut the lip in half.

These people actually know nothing about cars. All they do is sell sh*t from China. dont even try to correct them, they will get very confused.

Well, the "OLD" is listed as 135i, while the "NEW" is listed for 128i. Before, I don't think they made that distinction at all. Heck, in the photos it shows a 135i for both.

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm not feeling it (don't like the double chin or the wings) and don't like the other options out there so I think I'll just stick with the side skirts for now.

I needed something that looked ok and I wouldn't die a bit inside everytime i scratch it so now this cheap lip also sits on my car.

The fitment isn't THAT bad but if you want it to fit like J Lau then it'll be pretty tough. the center part does not line up as flush at J Lau's at all.

If you don't really care about that center part the rest fit decently, both of the ends lined up properly and the center part isn't too bad if you dont squat down and stare at it

^ The paint kinda makes the fitment in the middle glaringly obvious :/

I bet when you look at it from normal eye level (instead of directly head on like in the pic) it looks pretty awesome?

It also looks like the weight of the lip is pulling down on the bumper. Wow that thing fits awful.
