Replacing Leatherette Driver Panel
I am a new 135i owner going on two months now and wanted to know if anyone has replaced the leatherette on their driver seat. I think the owner before me had a big ass and wore it down every time he/she got in or out of the car.
The whole seat doesn't need to be replaced just the side panel of the seat with airbag built into it. Thanks 1-ERS! |

I found OEM seat leather on ebay.de because I had the same issue. I plan on switching it out in a couple months. Look on realoem.com and find the part number then cross your fingers and search. beware mine cost me a pretty penny but it's worth it for a new looking driver's seat IMO

Had this issue on my old E90, I used white craft glue to re-adhere the vinyl to the foam and seal it in. Invisible fix, apart from looking like a crack. This can be fixed professionally as well, was quoted $120 to fix it professionally. They melt the vinyl to repair it, then airbrush it for a factory new look that is totally blended. This will be way cheaper and less of a headache than replacing the seat cover
