I have a nice hook up at a local shop, so my price is cheap. I would say you could get it done for $100 or so.:drinking:
Thanks bro! I will have to show you the rest when I pick up the stuff tomorrow.:headbang: Quote:

I can't tell if you're debadged, but if you aren't you seem the perfect guy to paint the 135i black. I thought it would go great with the shadowline grill and trim. Now throw in your diffuser with that and it would be sweet.

Just picked up the diffuser from the painters. 60 bucks and 5 dollars in tip later, it's a nice gloss black. The only difference from yours is that I had the depressed, textured, center portion taped off (they said paint won't stick to it because of the texture and I didn't have them sand it). It actually looks pretty good, gives it a subtle two tone feel to it. I may do something with it but for the time being will just leave it be. So far I do believe it's much more cosmetically pleasing, especially for 60 bucks. If I had to do it over again I'd be tempted to try a satin black as opposed to a full out glossy. As it stands right now the black is just a whole lot more glossy than the white making the diffuser much more prominent now. But in the end I'm sure I'll get use to it. |
