I put my details in for this last week. Hopefully it works out as I've been putting off new tyres for a while now

I selected the US$225-250 discount range, so US$975-1000 +US$270 for shipping. Not sure how much duty is likely for this but its still better than full price (if they go ahead).

I selected the decline option if they go with a lower discount as it seems like blatant bait and switch if they do that - would rather get el-cheapos locally than deal with that shit.

Looks like they're pledged for the full $250. Bargain for wheels with the perfect offset for our applications.

So apex sold them to me for $976 USD but listed the price as $1226USD on the customs forms so UPS want to charge me extra.

I emailed them but I'm not expecting them to sort it out anytime soon

$1670AUD with shipping, however UPS want me to pay an extra $290 for customs (based on the non-group buy price).

About the same as me, I added a few things like valve stems and emblems which added to the price.

No indication for shipment for my items just yet. I ordered EC-7's 35/58 offsets to suit my application.

When I received the notification the wheels had already shipped three days prior.

What tyres are you going to use? I wanted to use the last remaining PSS but can't get the spec'd 235-40 for the fronts. PS4 is available in that size so may run PS4 front and PSS rear.

I went the ARC-8 Hyper Black, 18", ET +45 front and +58 rear.

What sized and brand tyres should I put, I've also struggled to find MPSS in 235-40 for the fronts.

Pilot Sport 4(s) are supposedly the replacement for PSS but don't seem to be in 18" in Australia yet

I followed the Apex recommendations and put Pilot Sport 4 (non 's') 235/40/18 F and 265/35/18 R. Both ends rubbed. Got the rears rolled by Athid Robert as per PeteA's thread and that's sorted. The fronts... still rubs on what I'd consider medium sized depressions in the road. Will get around to seeing if more negative camber helps but I have a feeling I'll also need a stiffer suspension setup to reduce the rubbing.... the front bumper just narrows in too much to clear a wide tyre.

I'm 50/50 whether I should have just gone 225/40/18 (F) / 255/35/18 (R) to save all the hassle.

Damn, I just ordered those same tyres.

How badly does it rub?

You could be lucky, I think it's such a tight fit that manufacturing tolerances, bushing wear, alignment, tyre model etc all play a part. Seems a lot of LHD cars in the US run this tyres size (MPSS) without issue. However in RHD, I've seen a few threads (babybmw and here) that report the same problem I'm having.

How badly... the rears were bad, any kind of average suspension compression would rub. The fronts are not as bad but still annoying. I will get it once a day and generally know when to slow down to avoid it.

I've decided to cancel the PS4 and go with PSS instead, with the 245/35 instead of 235/40.

Yep stock.

I read that 245/35/18 was better as the diameter is smaller, however it's still wider. My 235 is already quite close to the strut. Good luck!

I should mention that I'm really happy with the PS4, zero complaints wet or dry.
