I'll put that to the guy who is offering it... he uses ventureshield... which has a lifetime warranty... pretty impressive really.

I assume the warranty is on the product and the application but not on the uncovered paint fading and becoming a different colour to the paint protected by the clear bra.

Don't you think the big euro plates look too big on a small 1-er?

If you look on drive.com.au etc, all the 1=ers have slimline ones.

I looking at changing my (large) personalized plates into another form - on the myplates.com website. It costs $400 though....seems a bit pricey.

Cause i'm buying them off the dealer with the new car in order to avoid getting LCT taxed on the perf parts.

What the hell are they going to do with your car for 14 days? Is this including customs?

i think the dealer says that as a "worse case" so ur not their asses 24/7...

i have read a few threads and 10days from docking seems to be the norm... so fingers crossed TOTTI we are looking at around the 16th till the 20th

Can I confirm which site you guys use to track your cars? I put my VIN in but it doesn't show up eventhough my car was build in early Oct which means it should be well and truly be on the ship...

EDIT: Don't worry, I stuffed up by not cutting and pasting the whole VIN. My car is scheduled to dock on 2/12. Which means I get it by mid Dec? Xmas pressie?
