One more pictured added. Thanks.

For those who are asking, you can run 235/265 with these since they are 8" in the front and 9" in the rear, but if you're lowered, you may have rubbing depending on your tire selection. With 225/255, I have heard there is no rubbing even when lowered, which is nice.

100% they are hyper black. Was debating on what color to get with Mike@VAC and the owner of APEX who both suggested hyper black. And I am happy with their suggestion. Was going to go for anthracite or gloss black but I was swayed.

17s ride nice, nothing more. Need 18s or 19s for a classy look.

Sorry i cant read. I saw the 3 color choices on the web site and hyper black is the display one and not in the color choices. No wonder i like them so much as they are like a gun metal color.

I need 17's for the roads around here as my car is a daily driver and i already bent a 261 and blew out a sidewall on a pothole.

This car gets driven daily in Jersey City, NJ and Staten Island, NY. Same or worse than anywhere else in the country, guaranteed. I am careful though.

There is a huge difference between the factor wheels (which bend and crack easily) vs aftermarket high quality wheels like Apex. On my old white 135i, I had 6 cracked rims and 17 tires replaced over the course of 2.5 year (luckily I had a $0 deductible warranty).

As for you sidewall blowout, was it on a runflat, or non-runflat, just curious?

And FWIW, I know 17's are clearly better for comfort, and tire/wheel safety on rougher roads.... but they just look particularly blah on this platform. Hence going with a set up well manufactured Apex wheels and full road hazard warranty which covers against nails, screws, bubble, gashes, ect.....

The tire i blew out was a non runflat hankook v12.

I drive 40 miles each way to work on the interstate.
What i really need is some long lasting tires on my stock wheels and a winter set and a track set.

I think the wife will ask questions if i stack that many sets in the garage.

I think the aero is the best looking wheel i have seen just a little heavier than the arc-8.

I guess i could just buy yours and park the car for the winter.

Do the right thing(you know what that is).....(buy these)
Agreed, best looking lightweight wheel.
As for the wife.... let stacks of tires in the garage be the worst thing she has against you.... See below... welcome to my life.
