Walnut blast with pancake compressor?
Thinking of picking up media blasting kit at harbor freight to do my valves this weekend.
Would a compact compressor be powerful enough? Here's what I have: Specs are 6 gallon, 2.8 CFM @ 90PSI with 150 max. operating pressure for improved tool performance.

I cant remember what CFM you need to get the valves clean, but even if that provides it, I dont think it would provide it very long. I imagine you would spend hours waiting on it to build up pressure throughout the process

You'd probably be better off borrowing or renting a bigger compressor.
