Need 4 wheel alignment after adjusting suspension
Hi does anyone know of a decent place near Franklin MA who can adjust camber settings and do an overall custom alignment? I read that there's a lot up north but it's just too far to drive to (unless I really have to). Places near here only do factory settings or outright refuse to do anything on a modded suspension car.
Things of note: Have ohlins suspension (r & t) Dinan fixed camber plates M3 front arms Adjustable end links (AKG) Rsfb's Apex EC7s Short story: shop that aligned it after install put on factory specs up front (very minimal camber) so it looks alright but I want it to have at least -2.2 on both sides to maximize grip on track. Can't go back to that place as it is in the modwest and now I'm back here in NE. Googling my query loaded up a thread in Bimmerforums and a guy there seems to be in the Mendon area but I don't think that site lets you PM if you're not a member. Thanks for any suggestions and it's nice to be back in good ole NE. |

Just read this reply. Any other suggestions?
Update: Front end developed some rattling-like sound ONLY when driven on bumpy roads. Like metal-metal contact. Did a visual inspection without the wheels and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. I do have an H&R front sway and adjustable end links (AKG) and I suspect it's from it but I am not 100% on this. Could be control arms, i don't know. On hiways and smooth roads, there's nothing. I'm suspecting the coilover install OR alignment was botched. Too bad can't go back to where i had it done. Last edited by $iriu$black; 08-07-2017 at 08:50 PM.. |

Only places I know of that will adjust and align performance suspension setups are Turner Motorsport and granite state dyno & tune.
Number of people I know have gone to Turner (track-built e46, full coilover and camber plates f80, custom suspension Supra, etc) and they all thank me after going. If you want the best you're going to have to travel a bit, unfortunately..but at least it's kept to an hour max..and not 3-4+ hours.
