I have the same OZ en my 135i...

But the rear tire is 255 x 35.
I have the Bilstein PSS10.

=> I had to enlarge the rear of the car (+10 mm in every side).

(Sorry for my bad english)

Sorry I meant 35 too (corrected now)

What do you mean "enlarge" ?
Did it rub ?
Did you have the ET40 in the OZ's ?

I was told to fit ET40 with these tyres and it would fit, But form my research using the online calculators I recon ET45 is required.

Cheers,

Si

Yes, I had lot of rub.

So, I extend the wings of the car at the rear by a profesional, and painted.
($1300)

I also put -2 degres camber rear and front.

Yes, I have the ET40 OZ, because is the only solution...

So much for the wheel supplier telling me they would definately fit. I had an idea they wouldn't. Just see that the 18 inch Yokohama Advan RZ that are designed for the 1 series Quoter ET45 front and ET50 rear on an 8J and 9J rim with 225 and 255 tyres.

Thanks for the help. I wil not buy the ET40's then as I do not want to get any bodyshop work done. I just want PNP

I guess you better buy the VR-G2 then (same dimensions and offsets as the yokohama), like the guys from WSTO. I'm gonna save up for those wheels by next year. They're not mainstream, sporty and extremely lightweight... can't go better than that for our 1-er I think..

is 19x8.5+30 and 19x10+37 going to work with some fender mods and say H&R springs? or is it just going to look utterly weird?

hey i'm considering a similar setup, but can't seem to see the difference between the ASA GT1 and GT2, would you know?

also, i'm considering smaller tires like 205 or 215 but i'm afraid they'll look too skinny... how's the 225 setup working for you?

I think "no", because the 135i want ET40 or more (49 / 52 stock).
