Intercooler vs meth

So please help a brother out here and list pros and cons.

N54 I would get both. N55 if you plan to run meth don't need IC.

In Arizona, I would do intercooler first. It helps a bunch for heat soak. As soon as I found out I was moving to Florida I put the intercooler the next weekend. As far as pro and cons it depends on what you are looking for out of your car.

I have both.
The pro of the intercooler is that you set it and forget it.

The meth is awesome because I can get an instant 20-30 degrees cooler than ambient but I have to refill my tank every week or so if I am running a meth map.

What's your wife gonna say when you go to take the family for a ride and she finds out your car is on meth

With this heat, I elected to go with the upgraded intercooler first. Doubt I'll ever do meth

but figure you can't go wrong upgrading the cooling system.

Any thoughts as to downpipes?

What intercooler did you go with? Any noticeable gains? DIY easy? When is the next area meet? Love to see your car.

Could you please post a datalog of being 20-30F below ambient temps?

Just ordered the FMIC (AA in black) but I'll let you know how it goes.

Don't know of any local meetups...haven't really looked in to anything other than SCCA stuff.
