There are no single turbo conversions on the market just yet!
edit: Came across poorly, reworded.

We have spent alot of time getting this working as well as it does (and the best is still to come!!), but don't rush to order one until we have checked it on a RHD car. I think it will need mods to fit RHD.
Looking forward to the records to start tumbling now!! |

You are correct about it no being on the market Kenny (more work to go to have a marketable kit)... but I can assure you the dynos and videos are for real. The car goes better than anything we have done yet with N54... hopefully it will make it to market with the same or better performance with some good reliability.

This is what i've been saying since day one in regards to RB turbo options. Wait until the single conversion hits the market. And we can see it's coming soon.

Very interested to see how this goes!
Will the step transmission be able to cope with this?

Thought so, got the impression it can't really cope with too much over 500hp.
Good to see a project getting close!

Seeing as this thread has some off topic nature, what do you guys think about this?

isn't shiv installing in a couple of customers cars, therefore the big single is on the market and that he is wanting to sort out the 'kit' for shipment around the world?
If this is not the case adrian any idea how long the development phase might go on for from 'development installs to production installs' |

Currently we have one prototype running with the intentions to get a few more running. Once we have them running (on a variety of setups of different n54 and transmission), we will be in a position to start selling kits. This will probably take at least another month, but probably more.
Our first prototype is running on an unopened stock early build n54 with close to 100,000 of the hardest n54 miles to have ever been logged. No strengthening has been done to the engine. Perhaps we will find the limits, but it is looking reliable at around 600hp and hopefully more. As for the autos. We can tune the engine to limit torque if desired. This may be necessary on a stock auto. Of course we can make as much torque as any other setup if we run high boost at low rpm, but we will probably tread carefully to ensure the whole system is reliable. It should not effect the straight line potential too much as you will drive the big single at higher rpm, but it will protect the drivetrain. Cheers, Adrian |
