Just got my SW update today from the dealer (hpfp was on its way to the other side) and I was curious if it might have any anti-tuner codes I should worry about. I have a little over a year left on my warranty and want to be careful.
This reminds me of the cat and mouse game between jailbreakers and iPhones. TIA, NurEinser |

The code is P2096 Target A/F feedback system too lean ON 2 Fuel system. I couldn't find it before, or maybe it was a different code. Seems like I need to adjust the downpipe fix. Anyway, just want to be clear that this has nothing to do with the tune, and only the downpipes.

Just installed the new 93 octane map and cruise control is back on mine too!
Unfortunately the small LED on the cruise control stalk does not light when you engage the CC. Perhaps with the full release (not beta) map, Cobb will fix this minor issue. |

I don't think that has ever been there. Unless they added it in the later models you're thinking of the wiper stalk for rain sensing. Do you now or have you ever had a yellow "CRUISE" light that shows up on the dash when CC is engaged?

dumb question but.... do we have to do anything after we update the AP on the computer, once we plug it into the car? Or does it update the car's ecu as soon as you plug it in?
Or do we have to change the map back to 0 and then back to stage 1 or something? |

You only have to change the map once. I thought I read that it takes 30 seconds, but I must have read wrong because it took ten minutes. Made me late for work.

The first time installing the newest maps (v.300) will take longer as you're adding a ton of data logging features. Otherwise it really does only take about a minute to switch between maps.

Anyone else update to the v.300 maps and still not have their cruise control fixed? I am 6mt I8A0S running the 91 map. I dont have the Beta firmware box ticked but it did update the firmware over the weekend and loaded the 203 maps.

Again, I engaged the cruise one time since I have owned the car and that was in mid-June, so my memory is not complete when it comes to what lights were on where. I can be certain that with the new beta maps, my cruise works, but I have no visual feedback that it is on. |

Weird. Mine updated the firmware and erased the maps I had on there only loading the v.300 stage 0, 93 oct and 91 oct on my AP. Worked like a charm.

Your post doesn't make sense. If you didn't have the beta firmware box checked then you did NOT update to v.300 maps. The maps may have updated to v.203 but those do not solve the cruise control issue.

i believe you need to check the beta firmware box and flash it with one of the new v.300 maps for the cruise control to be fixed.

Ihave1, it sounds as though you do not have the beta firmware box clicked. After the update you should see the v3.00 maps. These are the maps you will need to fix the cruise control issue. |

I went full retard. I do not have a small LED on my cruise control stalk nor lamp on the dash when cruise is enabled. Please ignore my previous comments.

You're right, I got the 1.6.3.2 update with the V203 maps. I didn't read the changelog closely enough.

Wow..sexy numbers man.
You have any issues with codes or cruise control or any of that shit? And hey I thought in order to use DP's with the COBB unit you had to wait for stage 2 otherwise you'd be running wicked rich or something.. P.S. What exactly does it mean that your A/F numbers were a good bit lower with the COBB installed? Does that affect temps, mpg? |

Up until the v3.00 maps I had a code for "Coding Missing" (P2FA3) and codes related to the CL downpipes. Cruise control also did not work. The latest update took care of the cruise control and the P2FA3 so I do still have the cat related codes. These will be fixed as part of stage 2. And hey I thought in order to use DP's with the COBB unit you had to wait for stage 2 otherwise you'd be running wicked rich or something.. P.S. What exactly does it mean that your A/F numbers were a good bit lower with the COBB installed? Does that affect temps, mpg? You do not have to wait to stage 2 to run CL downpipes. The car will not limp due to cat efficiency codes. You will get a SES light, but I am fine with that and will wait it out to Stage 2. There is always the option to run a BMS DP Fix. I am happy with the tuned A/F numbers and the graph above shows how lean the stock curve is. This is less of an issue due to the lower boost (6-8 PSI). In terms of gas mileage, I have found about a net loss of about 2 MPG. I am currently right around 20-21 MPG. Part of this could be related to the fact that I have tended to drive my car less during the week and more so on weekends for various AutoX events. |
