OBD2 code reader for iPhone

Probably in here somewhere, but could not find anything specific to a product after searching.
Anybody have a recommendation on a Bluetooth OBD2 reader that works with iPhone?

I have this and it works perfect. Plug it into the OBD and it will power on. Have blue tooth turned on your phone and it will automatically find it.

From there all you need is an app..... Torque lite and pro work well and there is another one i can't remember off the top of my head.

This is the one I have. Works great and comes with its own "Torque" like application.

I purchased when they were selling on kickstarter and have had zero issues with the unit.

Based on my research the iPhone will not work with Bluetooth obd2 readers. Instead it requires you to use a wifi one - programming restrictions. Android devices do not have this limitation.

I use an elm327 and with BMWhat I can do all code reading and most programming. Not bad for $15.

I've been looking into BMWhat, but have never gotten a response back as to whether it would work effectively on my 2013 N55.

I'll let you know. I have 2013 N55, and the BMWhat OBD-II Bluetooth Adapter is being shipped.

It works on my 2013 135i(N55). Using the BMWhat WIFI OBD2 Adapter(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and BMWhat app for iPhone, I was able to get access to everything they list on their site for the 1er(http://www.ivini-apps.com/coding.html).

Just coded higher voltage angel eyes, remove angel eye dim when headlights are on, digital speedometer, and windows up from FOB. I think I can have my side view mirrors fold automatically, need to figure/test that one out still.

Also, note that if you have a JB4, don't forgot to set it to map 0. Otherwise you'll end up like me spending 30 minutes trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect and read all the modules.

I noticed when I used dash command with the jb4 it wouldn't connect period. Got the bmwhat lite to connect and read fine in map 0. Stopped really worrying about them. Have a friend that's able to do coding and I went to jb4 android app for everything else.

I've never had any issues with Dash Command connecting with the JB4 - everything works fine on mine and with my iPhone. But I would like the simple coding capabilities, so that's why I was hoping to hear from someone about BMWhat. I'm glad that seems to work, so I will probably download that this weekend and play around with it some.

Get the "Lite" version, it's free. You wont be able to do any coding, but it will show you which modules it can read/write to.
