Misfire mystery

So before u start this i just want to say that im 17 and have relatively any idea on how to fix this... i changed my spark plugs and now my car is throwing codes for a misfire on cylinder 1 and 6 i swapped the coils around and also changed the plugs again and its still throwing the codes could it be a wiring issue or am I actually just stupid and its something obvious?

Alright, lets start from the top. Why did you change your spark plugs to begin with?

When you say you switched coils around, do you mean you switched 1/2 and 5/6 or did you switch 1/6?

When you put the coils back in did you make sure the connectors fully seated and clipped in?

Did you torque the spark plugs? did you inspect the gap on them and make sure they were relatively good and didn't drop them?

I know im asking a lot just trying to skip having like 6 post.

Was it misfiring before you proactively changed the plugs? Which brand of plugs did you put in?

You might try putting the original plugs back into cyl 1 and 6.

It's possible to completely miss the plug with the boot of the coil. You'll hear it snapping, and if night you'll see a light show in the plug well.

It's also not unheard of to break the coil boot internally when removing them. One not so common but 5/6 being they are kinda a stretch to reach /awkward angle.

Though I don't think you'd miss 1 3 times, 6 maybe.

Also, a misfire isn't limited to spark. Could be you disrupted an injector ...
