Happy New Year...
Anyway, checked the forum and found info I needed...
Fuel pump is a fuel-it stage 2
Fuel pump hat is stock...
Per the picture below I found fuel on the fuel pump hat and a fuel odor from the passenger side...
This is after filling the car full and adding stabil...
I normally don't fill my car full, so this could have been an issue for some time...
I replaced the O-ring(today)...
Car is in winter storage so I will not be testing for some time to confirm it is just an O-ring(although the original o-ring "looked" completely fine)...

My question is: is there anything I missed? Is the hat the culprit and should I just order a new one?(Again, the fuel pump is new, fuel-it stage 2, less than a month old, o-ring gasket is new)...

Did I post this in the wrong section?

Worth checking the o-ring again.
I've never done one myself, but the dealer screwed mine up so badly that the car would spill fuel on the ground when parked at a slight tilt
Therefore I assume they could be tricky to get right.

Thanks...
I put a new o-ring in today...
Might want to mention the original o-ring(not new)was used when installing fuel-it pump...

Its probably not the cap. Oring or Check if the hold down cover is all the way tightened?
