N55 Speed Limiter

Is there no way to remove the limiter on an N55? 130 MPH is not nearly enough for the big tracks.

A good tuner can remove the speedlimiter.

I am running just the BMW PPK and have yet to hit the limiter. I have a '12 DCT car and if I'm in manual mode, sport mode, TCS off and do not hit the button at the end of the gas pedal travel, it will not stop accelerating apparently. Most I've had it up to is 152.

I think Dinan Stage 2 also re-flashes the limiter to 155. The Fastest I've been is 144 MPH.

Any coder should be able to add "840 high speed synchronization" - it's an option to Increase the top speed limiter. Required for the PPK I believe.

You can check your option here: http://bimmer.work and put in the last 7 of your vin.
