Installed jb4 back into car now car won't run

2011 n55 fbo 135i Cobb backend flash jb4. So I unplugged my jb4 and uninstalled Cobb for emissions. Reinstalled Cobb today. Car started and ran fine. Hooked up jb4 and tried starting car and it started and died. Cc-id 29 in dash and a million dtc codes on Cobb. Cleared and tried again all the codes came back and still didn't run. I found the boost solenoid plug was broken and I think it may have shorted out. Will the boost solenoid (pressure converter) keep the car from running? The dtc codes seem to all point to a bad communication with the wiring harness and dme. I dk if it's the boost solenoid or a fuse? Any ideas or help would be amazing. Thanks

Its a $5 fix, try it and find out, or just remove JB4 entirely

The connector is an issue, maybe not THE issue, but needs to be fixed.

You probably messed something up during the install. Take it back apart and see, and make sure the battery is disconnected.

The OP is getting help on n54tech.

Basically, he didn't disconnect his battery before reinstalling the jb4 and shorted something out.

Best of luck and keep us posted.

Yea sorry for duplicate threads I wasn't getting anywhere there until today. I had to do the ground trace bypass to get car running. I damaged the dme. Battery disconnected or not the clip broke and the wires were touching regardless. It's still not running out of limp mode so I have more things to figure out. I'll update as things progress.

When I had issues when I install jb4 the first time, I freaked out when it ran into limp mode and got a bunch of errors. I uninstalled jb4 and took it to my mechanic to have a look. In the end it was a$2 fuse that was out causing all the problems, which ended up costing over $200 to diagnose. So check every fuse first.
