New ride and pictures
Friendly greetings to all. Got the car a couple of weeks back; but it took a while to get the pictures and hence the delayed post. I am not too good with digital photos and editing, so perhaps resident photographers like diesel007, Nikki, Ledzep, Femme and others can help improve my future photo sessions. Here are a few...

Hey Demian, that is Westlake, Tx. I work for IBM and I used to work there, in building 2.
Nice ride. I used to park my red 535i, then black 328Ci in the parking structure there. Small world. |

That shot with the reflections is a good shot but it could have been GREAT if you took it a bit closer in so you had the roundel and the reflections only... like this:

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the kind words.
I am pretty OK with the manual SLR but haven't dabbled much with digital photography. So thanks again for all the suggestions; keep them coming. Quote:

I have to disagree with another opinion (very respectfully of course), because the first thing that popped out at me when I opened this thread was the photo of the hood with the reflection of the building. Before I could even read a word of your text, I thought to myself "either this guy has hit a composition home run, or he's one lucky SOB".
What scores the home run in that shot is that the reflection is cut perfectly with the body crease in the hood. It is a very appealing and interesting photo that drew me in immediately! Nice job! Congrats on a beautiful new car! And keep up the good work. P.S. Even if that shot was a lucky accident... NEVER admit that!!
