Bride rails

Hey all,

Anyone running Bride rails? I used to have them in all of my Jap cars and was happy with them. Easy to install, included everything you needed, mounted really low.

Looking to mount my Recaro SPA and retain a sliding feature. If not, I'll go the Macht Schnell with Recaro sliders but Brides would be easier and cheaper.

Cheers,

Dane

...so nobody then?

If not, is anyone running the Macht Schnell setup with sliders, and if so are you happy with it?

I'm running Macht Schnell floormounts with recaro sliders and have no complaints. The mounts look good too

Magic, thanks for the feedback. Which sliders did you go for?

I was thinking the same. Happy with the height? I'm 6'4" so could use the head and leg room.

Yeah, the height is acceptable. I'm only 5'9 though :P
If you want lower you'd prob have to go fixed positions with no sliders. But probably not recommended

Looks so hot aqua. Would love this setup! Would you be able to copy some links to the parts you used into a post?

Nice setup. Like the seats.

Slightly tangential, but how would someone get in the back seats with this dual bucket setup? I personally dislike the aesthetics of a mixed setup (bucket driver, normal passenger) but it wasn't until I was admiring your config that the back seat gotcha of a dual bucket setup hit me.

Yeah I prefer dual setup as well for a more complete look.
It's still possible to get in the back seat as you just have to slide the seats forward. But definitely a bit more difficult to get it. I don't often have passengers in the back so it's not a problem for me :P

Apparently the Macht Schnell Hybrid Seatbelt Mount is no longer available. I know VAC has a solution, but they utilise an aftermarket recepticle that doesn't elimate the dashlight and assuming provides no pre-tension on the belt.

Anyone know of any other solutions?

I'm sure you can still find them online? These are the ones I use.
