Many of the ebay ones are just an additional piece 3md to your mirror housings. They claim to be thin enough to look good but I haven't ordered one yet so can't say for sure. The OEM ones are more expensive because they are an actual housing replacement...there are ebay alternatives to that too.
Tape and go covers are ~100-200 Housing replacements are ~500 for aftermarket, ~600 for OEM

I couldn't find any I liked so I sucked it up and bought the CF covers from BMW, but then again I found a used BMW CF diffuser and saved a bunch on that end
Call Alan at **********s.

I got used iCarbon overlays that look phenomenal. Very thin and fit like a glove over the OEM mirror covers. Too bad they aren't around anymore.

Yea. Unfortunately the companies that made the CF Overlay ones instead of the complete replacement are non existent anymore
So unless you can find someone selling their overlays in the FS forum you might have to go OEM.

If you don't want to spend the $600 dollars you can go through this company that people are raving about. JC Sportline - where people have been ordering lots of CF Diffusers from them. Great quality and exceptional fitment from a no-body company.
CF Mirror Overlays - http://www.jcsportline.net/en/product-detail-978.html Customer Support (for any questions about there items) - tina@jcsportline.net CF Diffuser Thread for reviews - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589266 My personal preference would be to not use the 3M tape as the fitment won't be nearly what you are expecting. You need to use 3M Trim Adhesive. Here is a helpful thread that will show you what I did to get perfect fitment:http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...irror+Overlays

Try JCSportline. That is your second best bet. Don't go iCarbon.
