You know... before BMW gets all MB-CLK-crazy on us, and hikes the prices of the 3er. I still think it's going to happen. |

As for lease deals, we already know that the 335i sedan carries some pretty sweat deals (especially as a refreshed model is coming soon) and I would almost certainly guarantee that the 135i lease deals will, at best case scenario, be the same as the 335i. I would expect Z4 Coupe-esque lease deals (i.e. not good) for the 135i. The 128i will be very different, though. Quote:
BTW, who ever renamed the thread to exclude the destination charge clearly has some sort of agenda. Lame effort indeed... it is not like the destination charge automatically disappears.

Although if you planning on using ipod interface I imagine the nav will have a better display.

The absolute minimum MSRP for the 135i is not 34,900. Regardless of how BMW posts their numbers, the destination charge does not disappear and is still a mandatory factor in the price of the car. Removing it is deluding those who read it (yes, that means BMW is deluding their viewers too).

Since these days you can configure Toyota's, Nissan's, and Hyundai's in the 30s the price tag for the 1er (even with options) seems down right reasonable. |

Yep, BMW screwed up big time and can kiss new buyer sales goodbye. Only hardcore BMW fanboys will be buying the 1 series. A entry level 128i for $30k are you kidding me? The WRX has the same power and performance for over $5k less. A 135i that after dealer bullshit will be damn near $40k is also a joke. A new Evo X bases for $7k less and an STi for $5k less. Again, both those cars will either perform just as well or better than the 135i.
Save the "well a Mitsubishi or a Subaru isnt a BMW" fanboy bullshit. The rest of the buying public BMW was hoping to get dont care and wont buy an entry level 1 series at those prices. I expect to see many sitting on lots, idiots. |
