Red face New Rimzzz

Finally finished my wheel project a couple weeks ago and just getting around to posting up a couple photos now. Legit shoot coming soon:

18 x 9" / 10" Work Equip

Had them redrilled to 5x120 at VRWheels in Cali

Removed old crappy paint

Painted the inner barrels matte black. Fixed some curb rash and painted the centers.
Self etching primer first

Sanded, more primer, then more sanding. Painting a white base coat then clear with House of Kolor mini gold flake added:

Hand sanded and polished all 4 lips:

Purchased new gold bolts, gold lugs and stud conversion:

Assembled them:

Got the Falken 452's mounted and installed on car:

I'm happy with them

Haha thanks but they don't make these anymore. You can find a set with workable offsets if you look hard enough. You'll need to redrill them also since they are Japanese wheels.

It's all good man. I built them for me. That color would clash with my coral interior, but pretty much any color would look good ha

I believe I did 19 ft/lbs and I've done over 1k miles on them already with no issues

Hey, i hate to be a bother, but where did you purchase the bolts from? My wheels have rivets, so they're not quite as long/deeply drilled as your bolts, but I am missing a couple of them on one wheel. I'm just looking for some replacements.

I'll say it again, sick ride! I personally like the color of the wheels. They look similar to mine, so I love the 5-spoke style and the lip with the bolts. Only difference is my spokes are black, your lip is deeper, and i have silver rivets and you have gold bolts

But yeah, it's a great style. Very different, and I'm jealous of your deeper lip! You're wider than me by half an inch front and back. Hows the offset?

+1.

Not a big fan of white spokes either,

But overall very nice stance and nice to see something different!!

Personally I would have loved to see those spokes in dark glossy colors,
like glossy dark grey-ish or navy-ish

NICE WORK!!
