Rings in front Rotor
While changing my wheels yesterday I noticed that the front passenger side rotor has two very noticeable "rings" on the rotor. What could have caused these? Is there anything to be worried about? I have my first service in about 1k miles which I will have them look at then. I have not noticed anything while breaking nor do I hear any squealing. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

I have the same, wavy wear too that loook like rings. ( my set was a take off used part with rings already)
After asking here and else where i was assured its okay and related to pads. My brakes stop quite good and all I was recommended to do was try the brakepad break in procedure. Definitely have BMW look at it if its part of your service or Warranty.
