Needs some detailing insight.

Had the car for 2 years and finally got some time to do a full detail. Just wanted to clear up some questions.

Tools:
Griot's Garage 6" random orbital
Meguiars Ultimate Compound
Meguiars Ultimate Polish
Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax
Uber Foam Pads; Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Black

I just finished washing and claying as well as applied GG paint prep.

Questions:
1) There are some slight swirls no scratches that I can see. Should I do compound then polish then wax or just the polish and wax is fine.

I have no clue where these are from but they seem to be the worse.

2) If I was to do a compound should I use Uber orange or yellow with the orbital on speed 5?
3) With the polish, Uber green (60 PPI) or blue (70 PPI) with speed 2?

Seems I didn't need to compound or polish, except for those issue areas. I tested on one side of my trunk, first with compound, then with polish and noticed very little difference from the untouched side. Went straight to waxing which didn't do much for the looks but it's so silky smooth now.

A chemical paint cleaner (P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser) is often an effective non-aggressive alternative
