Carbon fiber diffuser from ebay
Has anyone had any experience with this carbon fiber diffuser from ebay which comes from China. The company is called JC Sportline.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-e82-c...item415bb65003 If not, what are peoples thoughts. Im a bit hesitant considering that even the more expensive CF diffusers from icarbon and the like sometimes have quality issues. Its tempting though. Last edited by fly135; 07-24-2011 at 03:36 AM.. |

It says "Easy installation,3M tape included, just need clean surface and add on". Does this mean that it just fits over the current diffuser?

Also, the photos suggest it isn't double sided carbon fiber either, although that isn't too much of a concern for me. Last edited by fly135; 07-23-2011 at 08:05 PM.. |

Your best bet is to ask the previous customers about the product. You can view them by clicking on the number in parentheses to the right of the sellers name. This will show you feedback from recent customers. It shows what was purchased, how much was paid and the customer's screen name. Find feedback with the same product title then send a message to that customer.

I've been watching this item for a couple of days. Sent the seller an email asking if it included the mesh. They replied with "It does of you want it to" so make sure that if you purchase it you tell them that you want the mesh...
Still tossing up buying one for myself... |

Hahaha, so who's gonna be the guinee pig then.
Will definitely be sure to confirm the mesh before purchasing. It does indeed look exactly like the Scopione product. I wonder what the ETA is on the back orders for that one. |

I bought one off ebay from this seller:
http://stores.ebay.com.au/Directpart...id=p4340.l2563 Part is not listed but you can ask him for it. I believe he has everything from BOCA http://www.bocadesign.de/listings.php?cid=2&sid=23

BOCA only have quad diffuser's listed on their website. Is yours a quad or twin? When are you expecting delivery? It would be much appreciated if you could give us a review when you receive it. |

Yeh it does look a lot like the N54 though. I think the E87 and E82 are interchangeable - well I really hope so because I want! I've sent them an email waiting for reply.

I have the single sided twin, it's pretty much same as the iCarbon design with three fins. It's already on my car and I've posted some photos before, but can I post some more. Don't have a close up though. With regards to the review, I think it's very subjective but comparing with OEM BMW I'd give: Quality: 8/10 or 7 (Had tiny blemishes but can't really see when it's on the car) Fit: 10/10 Shipping took 4 days!

Thanks heaps SparklingRed. At that price i think you done pretty well.
From what i can tell from the pics, the diffuser looks pretty good. icarbon would have probably cost somewhere close to $1,100 landed and you still may not have got a perfect product. |
