You would lose adaptive and he would remain the same unless he retrofitted the module, control arm, and coded it on.

No, they can't.

No idea if the lack of adaptive would throw a code, I would imagine yes as it would be unplugged.

I have another source. A buddy in Sevilla who has a valeo contact which is the company that makes our lights here in Spain actually. I got my set from him and he has 1 more. 950 euro.

I want clear corners, but ~$1300 is tough to swallow for a purely visual upgrade.

So much on the list first.

130is haha i like that. Nice

I know how you feel man. To tell you the truth when I spend euro these days I dont bother converting it out because it will just piss me off lol. But ya it was about 1200-1300 US dollars. My thought on it was that usually even a used set of oem adaptive bi xenons goes for about 1200 on here. I think think the cheapest set I saw was maybe 1000. I saw another euro set on here that were non adaptive that a guy wanted 800 for plus your stock lights. Haha yea right. The euro pair I got were brand new+lci+adaptive so it was a pretty good deal and I didnt have to spend any money shipping not to mention it included all ballast and bulbs so couldnt complain on the price. Plus once I went to look at em and held them up to the car and saw how much better they look I knew I was buying them lol. I thought about OSS but they arent very cheap either not to mention Ive got to take my lights off and send em 4500 miles. If I were stateside Ida done that. BTW if anyone is interested in that set I'm US military here so I can ship through USPS on base and no international fees or holdups.

Is it 950 euro per light? Probably. BTW, I used to be stationed in Rota. Picked up my 128i from Pentagon Car Sales over there in 2010.

No sir 950 euro for the pair. No way ida paid 2000 euro 2600 dollars for lights lol. I cant post a pic to show you right now but like I said they were brand new never had been installed on a car no dirt or anything. The other set is new too. I guess they were xtras the guy at valeo was able to get ahold of. Ya that dealer in Jerez sucks. Their customer service is terrible and it takes them years to do even an oil change. Id almost rather drive to savilla. SO you bought yours from James and Merchie here at PCS? Ya I got mine same place. James did my order but got fired before I arrived to take delivery and one of the guys from germany is here now. Good dude.

Thanks, figured it made sense given the mods.

Didn't realize the US adaptive light market was that good, hmm.

No, I got my car from a guy named David, but he left pretty abruptly and James had just started a little before I left Rota. I'm not sure why, but I got the impression that Pentagon has had a bit of trouble with that little place - the staffing seems to turn over a lot, and when I was buying my car David mentioned to me that they were considering closing down because they didn't do enough volume. Seems like they sold a ton of cars to me - tons of people on base are driving new BMW's and Mini's, lol. And then I heard that you used to be able to drop off your car in Rota for home delivery when you PCS'ed back Stateside. Then for a while I guess they didn't have a contract with any carriers in Spain at all. Shortly before I left, they announced that they would be able to send cars out through Madrid, so that's how mine got out.

Ya seems like they do plenty of business to me. I am an airforce guy actually and you know here at rota our command is very small. Just in my command alone theres about 20 or 30 people with new bmws from there. Then not to mention the rest of the navy people that buy em. Ya aparently james was into some on the side stuff was the impression I got. So this time they sent down the general manager from germany to run the place.
